September 11, 2021
Smith scored four goals to go with 23 disposals (16 kicks, seven handballs) during Saturday's 116-45 win over Port Adelaide in the Preliminary Final.
Smith has scored seven goals over his last two games in addition to recording 50 total disposals. As Marcus Bontempelli hasn't played so well for a while, Smith could easily be the second-best option from the 'Dogs in the Grand Final.

July 31, 2021
Smith recorded 29 disposals (19 kicks, 10 handballs) to go with five marks made and seven completed tackles in Saturday's 105-56 win over Adelaide in Round 20.
Smith is managing to outdo Western's Brownlow medal favorites with his fourth score over 100 fantasy points in his last six games. As he's still not one of the bigger names on his team, Smith could offer exceptional value in comparison to the team captain, Marcus Bontempelli, over the last month of the season.

July 17, 2021
Smith compiled 33 disposals, nine clearances, four tackles, two marks and a goal assist Saturday as Western edged out Gold Coast 90-79 at Metricon.
Smith not only matched a personal-best for handballs (20) as one of four Bulldogs to top 30 disposals in Saturday's contest, but too set a career-high for clearances. The former 2018 first round pick also notched his second goal assist in as many appearances and ninth of the year. The performance finds the 20 year-old having now produced 98 or more fantasy points in three of Western's last four outings and currently averaging 85 points per game this season, seventh-highest for the team.

June 28, 2021
Smith collected 31 disposals, six clearances, five marks and tackles each, two behinds and a pair of goals Sunday as Western knocked off West Coast 98-43 at Optus Stadium.
A season-high 18 handballs helped Smith to finish one disposal short of teammate Jackson McCrae's game-high 32 on Sunday, while his two majors netted him his first goals since April 30. His six clearances also was also fourth best for the match. The performance ultimately landed the 20 year-old his second-highest fantasy point total (127) of 2021, but did little to improve his average of 84 points a game, which currently ranks 78th-best among AFL midfielders.

Smith scored two majors and collected 36 disposals (23 kicks, 13 handballs) to go with eight marks made during Friday's 69-53 win over Collingwood.
Smith scored a third of his total goals from last season in the first match of the new one during a strong all-around showing. While his stats may regress somewhat, the midfield strength for the Bulldogs could make it hard to pin any one player down and give Smith plenty of opportunities to shine.
Career best in win

August 16, 2020
Smith logged 37 disposals (26 kicks, 11 handballs) and made six clearances during Saturday's 111-54 win over Adelaide.
Smith set a new career high for disposals in a match during an extremely favorable matchup against the last-placed Crows. After struggling to even reach 20 disposals over his last three matches, Smith had the kind of performance that hasn't showed up lately. It will be another task to see him raise his level of production against tougher opponents.
