Tomshaw's contract with the independent American Association's Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks was purchased by the White Sox on Thursday, Brandon Warne of Access Twins reports.
ANALYSIS
Tomshaw pitched exceedingly well for the RedHawks, recording a 2.69 ERA and 1.05 WHIP in 11 starts and one relief appearance last season. This will be Tomshaw's second stint in the White Sox organization, as he spent 2018 and 2019 in the upper minors with the team. The 32-year-old lefty has yet to make his MLB debut.
