Expected to join team Saturday
Liu, a Taiwanese prospect, was asked to delay his arrival at Red Sox camp due to concerns related to the coronavirus, but he's expected to join the team Saturday, ESPN.com reports.

There had been conflicting reports earlier in the week that Liu had been placed under quarantine by the team, but Red Sox media relations vice president Kevin Gregg confirmed in an e-mail that the 20-year-old right-hander not only hasn't been quarantined, but he also hasn't been sick or displayed any symptoms. Liu is spending the majority of his time in a Fort Myers, Fla. hotel, and he's communicated through social media that he's feeling well and getting in both strength and cardiovascular work as he prepares for his Saturday arrival in camp.
