Leaving VCU for NBA
FVCU
April 7, 2022
Williams announced Thursday via his personal Twitter account that he will forgo his remaining eligibility at VCU to enter the 2022 NBA Draft.
ANALYSIS
Rather than taking advantage of the extra year of eligibility afforded to him by the COVID-19-affected 2020-21 season, Williams will move on from the Rams following a spectacular senior campaign. In his final year with the Rams, Williams average 14.1 points, 6.0 boards, 3.0 assists, 2.2 triples, 1.6 steals and 1.1 blocks in 32.5 minutes per game while shooting a career-best 47.7 percent from the field and 81.4 percent from the free-throw line.
