Kolek has declared for the 2024 NBA Draft, according to his announcement Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Kolek will forgo his last year of collegiate eligibility. He began playing college basketball with George Mason, averaging 10.8 points across 22 games before entering the NCAA's transfer portal and enrolling at Marquette. Kolek eventually became a superstar, winning Big East Player of the Year as a junior. The senior finished his Marquette career having averaged 11.7 points, 7.0 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.6 blocks across 99 games. With how well he played, especially as part of arguably the NCAA's toughest conference, Kolek has some potential to be a first-round selection.
