The arrival of Carson Steele thwarts any chance of Jones claiming the staring job after Zach Charbonnet’s departure, but he’ll still be a viable change of pace for the Bruins, especially on passing downs. Charbonnet had some injury issues in 2022 and Jones filled in aptly, most notably with a 98-yard performance against Arizona State.
