Edwards committed Wednesday to FCS Southeastern Louisiana, joining the program as a transfer from Alabama, Matt Zenitz of On3.com reports.

Edwards was a highly-rated recruit from the 2020 cycle, but the running back wasn't able to see the field during his two seasons at Alabama. Since he gets a free year of eligibility due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 in addition to qualifying for a redshirt for 2021, Edwards will have four years of eligibility to use as he heads to the FCS school.
