FCS Northern Arizona announced Jan. 17 that Millner joined the program as a transfer from California.
ANALYSIS
Millner served as the primary backup to Cal starting quarterback Jack Plummer in 2022, completing nine of 15 pass attempts for 121 yards and two touchdowns while carrying once for 13 yards. He should have a legitimate chance to handle a starting role as he moves down to the FCS ranks following two seasons at Cal. He took a redshirt in 2021, so he'll still have up to three seasons of eligibility to use.
