Vitality (0-2-0) vs. Astralis (1-0-1)
The first match of the day features a mammoth European match up as the undefeated, and win-less, Vitality, take on a new look Astralis that is fighting to stay on top of the world rankings. Vitality are slight favorites and will look to convert this into their first win of BLAST Spring, especially off the back of two excellent games from superstar AWPer ZywOo. Astralis, on the other hand, come into the match with a completely new lineup; JUGi and Snappi are currently filling the final two spots, and the lack of firepower and coordination has been blatant in their opening two games of BLAST Spring. If Astralis want to grab a second win they will look towards the remaining three members of their core, but especially device, who has the nigh on impossible task of keeping ZywOo out of the game. Astralis will look to keep this match on Dust 2 or Inferno, two maps where Astralis have some of the best set-ups in the world, while Vitality will look towards a Nuke or Vertigo, where ZywOo has the potential to control the map. The value in this match should come from the French side, especially with ZywOo valued below three members of Astralis.
Prediction: Vitality 16-14 Astralis
