ANALYSIS
Selected by the Broncos in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Williams played in two games for Denver as a rookie, catching his lone target for a 34-yard gain. He hasn't appeared in a regular-season game since. Williams caught seven of eight targets for 109 scoreless yards last preseason and spent time on the Jaguars' practice squad.

Over the last three years the Broncos have invested two-second round picks (Courtland Sutton, KJ Hamler) and a first-round pick (Jerry Jeudy) to bolster their wide receiver group, so it's hard to imagine 2021 sixth-rounder Williams quickly emerging as a difference maker. At 6-3, 211 pounds, the Auburn product certainly has the frame of a NFL receiver and a 4.49 40-yard dash at his pro day is solid for a man of his stature. If nothing else, the rookie should be a quality insurance policy if the similarly big-bodied Courtland Sutton struggles to return from last year's ACL/MCL, but for the moment consider 2021 a developmental year for Williams.
