Dominates in first UFC finish
July 24, 2021
Eubanks defeated Elise Reed via TKO (punches) at 3:49 of Round 1 at UFC on ESPN 27 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
Eubanks wasted little time in this one, throwing hands as a brief diversion before diving for Reed's legs and getting the takedown. It was academic from there, as Eubanks meticulously moved from position to position in order to set up the finish from mount. Eubanks is a skilled ground fighter with some power, but has had issues with her cardio in the past. If she is able to improve her gas tank, there is no reason why she shouldn't be able to climb in the rankings. Eubanks improves to 7-6 in professional MMA as a result of the victory.
