Gets right back in win column
Jasudavicius defeated Priscila Cachoeira via submission (anaconda choke) at 4:21 of Round 3 at UFC 297 on Saturday in Toronto.
ANALYSIS
Easy work. Not only did Jasmine secure one of the easiest victories of her career, but she also walked away with 30 percent of Cachoeira's purse after weight cutting issues on Cachoeira's end forced the fight to be moved from flyweight to bantamweight. Jasmine finished with a 326-26 edge in total strikes landed. The +300 edge was the most in a women's fight in UFC history and the third-most overall. It was a much needed bounce-back performance for Jasudavicius on the heels of her unanimous decision loss to Tracy Cortez last September. Set to turn 35 years of age in early-March, the Canadian needs to continue her winning ways moving forward. In the meantime, she'll cash in an extra $50,000 after getting selected for Performance of the Night honors.

Fight moved up to 135
Jasudavicius's scheduled flyweight matchup against Priscila Cachoeira at UFC 297 on Saturday has been moved to bantamweight due to weight-cutting issues on Cachoeira's end, MMA journalist James Lynch reports.
ANALYSIS
There's no word yet on any compensation received by Jasudavicius' camp as a result of the late fight adjustment that was no fault of her own. As of Friday morning, she's listed as approximately a (-380) betting favorite for the scheduled matchup.

Brief winning streak snapped
Jasudavicius lost to Tracy Cortez via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 28-29) at Noche UFC on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Jasudavicius had looked good of late, most notably in her unanimous decision upset win over Miranda Maverick this past June, but she really struggled with the hand speed and power of Cortez. Jasmine clearly dropped Round 1 before getting things back on track in Round 2 on the strength of a couple takedowns. It ended up not mattering because two judges inexplicably scored the second frame for Cortez, but it wouldn't have mattered given Jasudavicius' struggles in Round 3. The 34-year-old Canadian drops to 3-2 in her first fight UFC bouts.

ANALYSIS
