Chiquinho

Chiquinho has agreed to a loan move to English Championship side Stoke City for the 2023-24 campaign, with an option for a January recall, after spending last two seasons with the Wolves, the team announced.

Chiquinho (knee) has begun training with the team, but is not expected to return before the season ends, "It's true, he's [Chiquinho] working again with the rest of the group. Of course, he's so far away for the moment, but it's a good thing for him because he has been out for a lot of months, so it's not easy for the players. Always it's good energy when the players are coming" said manager Julen Lopetegui.

Chiquinho (knee) will miss the rest of the 2022-23 campaign, the team announced Friday.

Chiquinho has undergone surgery for a torn ACL and LCL, according to team Doctor Rob Chakraverty in Wednesday's press release.

Chiquinho suffered an injury to his ACL in Saturday's friendly and will undergo surgery in the near future.
